Free School Meal (FSM) Transition Protection

Please be aware that FSM Transitional Protection - which ensures continued eligibility for those who qualified for FSMs from 31st March 2018 - is expected to end on Monday 31st March 2025 (unless further extensions are announced).

What this means for parents/carers: 

• Students currently eligible will remain protected until the end of their education phase (e.g. primary or secondary).
• If your child is eligible but you haven’t applied yet, do so before Monday 31st March 2025 to secure FSM protection.
• Apply easily online via the Citizen Portal or contact 01454 868008 for support.
