Sirona are commissioned by NHS England to deliver the national school-age immunisations programme for childhood flu, human papilloma virus (HPV), meningitis ACWY, and the diphtheria, tetanus and polio booster (TD/IPV) across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.
The national immunisation programme aims to provide children and young people with the best protection against infectious diseases – ensuring protection through infancy, teenage years and adulthood.
Due to current high levels of vaccination coverage, serious preventable diseases such as influenza (flu), measles, mumps and meningitis are rare. But we are also aware that these diseases can return if the number of immunised children falls – an example of this is measles.
What do I do if my child has missed their vaccination?
