A432 Road Improvement Works

Please be aware of these upcoming improvements works on the A432 between Yate and Wick Wick roundabout, the extent of the works is shown in the maps below.

The works will take place in the following phases:

Wick Wick Roundabout to Down Road: Spring 2025 – Summer 2025
Down Road to Beesmoor Road: Spring 2025 – Winter 2026
Church Road to North Road: Summer 2025 – Spring 2026
Beesmoor Road to Church Road: Winter 2026 – Winter 2027

Detailed traffic management information will be released by South Gloucestershire Local Authority before each phase begins and we will share these updates as they become available. To manage traffic, there may be lane closures with temporary traffic lights, but not full road closures.

For the initial phase of work, between Wick Wick Road and Down Road, both lanes will remain open but will be made narrowed. This will begin in mid-March, and finish in summer 2025.

South Glos will be holding a drop-in event where people can speak to members of their project team, ask questions and understand the impact of the works:
