Surge Testing in South Gloucestershire for postcode sectors BS32 0; BS32 8; BS32 9; BS34 5; BS34 6

You may be aware that Public Health England and NHS Test and Trace have announced that South Gloucestershire will be providing additional community testing, also known as surge testing, following the identification of the Brazilian variant of COVID-19 in the local area.

The Trust encourages all parents, carers and staff who are not showing symptoms of COVID-19 to participate in the programme to help reduce the spread of infection. The surge testing is a short-term exercise in addition to the testing of secondary students and staff that each school in the Trust now has in place.
