Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch

 Winterbourne Academy hosted its first ever Senior Citizens Christmas Lunch on Wednesday 12th December.  Sixty OAPs from the Olympus Academy Trust area enjoyed a two course Christmas lunch and were entertained by sixth form students.  We were joined by representatives from Age Concern and Bristol Live who filmed some of the event below:

Thanks go to everyone who helped to make this event such a success, from the Willow Brook Centre who funded the event, the parents, staff and students who donated gifts for handing to our guests and the money raised via a Crowd Funding appeal.  We were delighted to be able to hand a cheque to Age Concern South Gloucestershire for over £900.

We look forward to holding more of these community type events in the future.
